Anytime Real Estate Agents and Brokers have an opinion on industry related issues we are accused of being money hungry vultures, out to make a quick buck, etc. etc.
We do it anyway.
Most recently it was at a city meeting about a large parcel of land that was to change zoning. Many comments erupted about “those real estate agents who don’t care, they just want the money.”
That’s where they’re wrong!
I do care what happens here. I live here. I work here. I play here. Most importantly, my family is here, my kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews. My wife and I have lived in Mohave County over 30 years. We don’t go on extravagant vacations to Europe, we would rather pack the grandkids up and boat camp along Lake Mohave or go fishing in Lake Havasu. We hike Sara’s Crack and kayak Topock Gorge. Mohave County Fair, Cornfest, and Run to the Sun are some of our favorite events here.
We volunteer, we participate. We sponsor local teams and events – personally, as a Team, and as an office. Our Realtor Association runs food and toy drives that we get involved in – personally, as a Team, and as an office. We help raise money for community events and local charities.
We participate in politics at the city, county, state, and federal levels. We have to. We don’t have the luxury of saying we don’t want to get involved. We have to. These things affect how we do business. It affects the transactions we work on every day. It affects you.
I care what happens here in Mohave County.
We aren’t here to sell you on schemes. Do we make money? Yes! That’s our job. It is also our job to make sure the deal is good for you, your family, and your business. If we don’t think it is, we’ll tell you. If you, your family, and your business do well here, it’s good for us too.
If you’d like to talk about your future here in Mohave County, give us a call!
